From Charles Darwin’s early inklings of evolution straight from his notebooks on the S.S. Beagle, this handwritten note appears alongside his famous tree of life. Reproduced in a lovely, 7.78 inch (19.5 cm), cuff bracelet.

I think was his first inkling about evolution and the notion is a wonderful to differentiate oneself from those who rely on dogma to make decisions.

Charles Darwin is best know for his book, On the Origin of Species, which lays out his theory of evolution. Groundbreaking and controversial at the time (who am I kidding, there are still holdouts on evolution), this theory has made Darwin one of the most influential people in human history. Darwin was likely a deist and described himself as agnostic. He once described religions as a tribal survival strategy. The death of his daughter seemed to be the final break for him and while he continued to donate time and money to a church, he stopped attending.
